SPOTTING SCOPE OR BINOCULAR?＋

Different tools. Binoculars are for movement and scanning — both eyes, wide field. A spotting scope is for detail at distance — one eye, narrow field, much more magnification. Most serious users carry both.

DO I NEED A TRIPOD?＋

Yes, above ~25× magnification. The included tabletop tripod works from a truck bed or rock; a taller tripod is better for standing glassing. We sell one — let us know if you want it added to your order.

WILL IT WORK FOR DIGISCOPING?＋

Yes, with a phone adapter. We don't include one in the box but can add the same OpticEdge-compatible adapter for $19.
